If you want your beautiful cotton clothing to last longer and keep in lovely conditon, please wash by hand, or put into a linen bag and wash on the gentle cycle of your machine. Do not use harsh washing detergents. See below for tips about washing 100% cotton. With care, your treasured garments can be kept for future grandchildren.
Washing your Cotton
When washing your 100% cotton, go easy on the washing agents. Whiteners and brighteners are especially hard on cotton. Instead, try doing a pre-soak in cold water, for an hour before washing, to release stains.
Add a few drops of Lullaby Lavender Pure Essential Oil of Lavender to your rinse water for a fresh garden fragrance in your clothing.
* Lavender oil will not stain your linen or clothing.
